About “Autumn Leaves”

The quietest record in the catalogue, and the one sauvachi rewrote most. It ends roughly where it starts: four versions with a proper climax exist in the project folder and all four are worse. What is there is a sparse rhythmic bed, one harmonic idea, a vocal held in a narrow range, and short dark reverb rather than long tails. Movement comes from removal — parts leave and do not return. The last line is unaccompanied. Not a cover, and not really about autumn.
