About “That Part”

Two sittings, three days apart, and the second one was mostly not adding anything. There is a version of this with strings and a bridge that answers the first half; none of it made the cut, because every addition made the song more polite and the song is not supposed to be polite. Listen for the drop-out before the last chorus — everything leaves except the vocal, for slightly longer than is comfortable. The ad-libs are all first takes, and it doesn't fade. It stops.
